Dometic 9100 Awning Problems

At the motor on the right side of the awning just happened.

Dometic 9100 awning problems.

And now it just clicks and won t retract. My dometic 9100 electric awning will not retract and just clicks at the motor. We can start it again shortly and go a ways and stop. Pinch hazard.

Maintain a verify valance is in correct position and adjust if necessary. Our awning motor i believe is failing. If awning is over extended press horizontal distance of at least 16 between fully open awning and any permanent object. I have a 2014 sanibel with a dometic 9100 power awning attached.

I deduced this in two ways. Where exactly do you think the noise is coming from. It will work sometimes but is getting worse. I extended the awning with no problem.

While camping this year an unexpected gust of wind bent the awning arm located towards the rear of the trailer. Motor sounds to be in a bind. Dometic 9100 power awning problem. The dometic power awning also functions using our keystone cougar trailers wireless remote control.

I own a 2012 outback 301bq with a dometic 9100 power awning. I will start to move and will stop. Failure toggle down retract briefly on awning switch until valance is in correct position. And how long has this been going on.

Diagnosing my power awning problem. The awning opens and closes alright but when closed tightly to the top of the support arms the bottom of the arms are out about an inch. Fortunately i was able to quickly diagnose the problem was the manual power switch itself and not the motor fuse or wiring. It will come back in if we continue with this needless to say i need to fix this.

I tried the awning using it and it worked.
