There are many questions that can be answered definitively on the differences between cds and vinyl but if what you seek is proof that one sounds better than the other you might be quite disappointed.
Vinyl for the most part avoided the loudness war with the rise of digital music cds included it s possible to make a track sound louder than it naturally should.
Thanks to superior sound quality and a susceptibility to scratching records are still first choice for many on the club scene.
All of that to say while vinyl and cassette ruled the day commercially in the 70s and 80s there was no debate as to which format sounded better.
I took the cassette and made a listening comparison.
Is a cd quality album going to sound more accurate on vinyl than a cd.
But it will sound.
Amazingly the cassette sounded better than the vinyl.
Cassettes on the other hand are nowhere to be found.

There s another far superior reason why vinyl is better than lossy digital formats.
I have heard that there are poor sounding records and i guess this is one of them.
Vintage music perhaps the growth in vinyl sales has made cassette tapes comeback inevitable.
The cassette is 40 years old and in my opinion the sound quality is still above the average.
If you were serious about your sound you listened to vinyl.
The problem here is that it had a tremendous result on the audio quality.
