How to properly remove transfer tape from a decal when the vinyl is sticking to the backing paper.
Do i remove the backing off the vinyl in cricut.
Do your best to get it right where you want it the first try.

My light grip mat was brand new so the vinyl stuck to it easily.
Use a craft stick or cricut scraper.
Preparation with cricut transfer tape.
If the vinyl sticks to the transfer tape simply burnish the vinyl onto the surface again.
Select images and size and load the mat into the machine.
Then continue to peel the transfer tape away from the vinyl.
Working with vinyl iron on can be a lot of fun but it can also be really frustrating.

Use a needle tool or a mechanical pencil without the lead exposed to help pry up small pieces or hold down sections.
Once the paper backing is removed it is time to apply the design to the surface.
Peel off the vinyl sheet from the mat.
Remove the negative pieces from each of the images leaving the clear.
Remove the vinyl from the cricut.
You are cutting too deep.

Do not remove the letters from the backing paper.
When removing the vinyl sheet from the mat peel the mat away from vinyl instead of.
With less tacky clear transfer tapes and or other conditio.
The vinyl letters are cut on the front of the sheet while the backing paper is not cut.
Load your mat and then press go.
First you ll need to put your vinyl on a cutting mat.
You can do so much more than just cut paper with it.
The entire sheet will come off.
Carefully line it up where you want it and place the design down.
Depending on the surface and the vinyl used you can sometimes lift it back up an adjust it but don t count on it.
You could also use a 12x24 green mat.
Peel the vinyl that is not part of your design off of the backing.
When you pick up your design with your transfer tape some of the backing rips off and stays on the back of the vinyl.

Try lightening up your pressure of your cut.
The design should be the only vinyl left on the backing.

My favorite material to cut with my cricut explore air is adhesive vinyl.
Peel away all of the extra vinyl from around the letters.
Your decal for a customer will not weed cleanly off the backing paper.
Place vinyl liner side down onto cricut standardgrip mat.
